What does hypnosis feel like?
A way to describe hypnosis is that it is a deeply relaxed state in which you are fully aware of your surroundings, similar to meditation.

 

What usually happens in a session?

Once you make a booking, you will be sent through more info and an agreement to sign before the session. At the beginning of the first session we spend time getting clear on the problem and what you'd like to experience instead. We then begin the "change-work" portion of the session where I use a range of hypnotherapy or NLP processes depending on what is best suited, such as conversational hypnosis, eyes closed trance-work, regressions, guided journeys and more. We then discuss the changes made at the end and any between-session tasks so you get the most out of the sessions.
 


Can I be stuck in hypnosis?
No, you can not get stuck into hypnosis. Hypnosis only works where the client is open and willing. All hypnosis is self hypnosis, meaning all suggestions may only be accepted if the client chooses to.

 


How many sessions should I do?
It depends on the client, how many areas they would like to work through, lifestyle and more. More sessions means you can go in-depth and address a wide range of areas in your life for overall wellbeing. Usually one area impacts another area of life and I love seeing clients thrive in all areas!

Quit smoking sessions typically take 1-3 sessions depending on the individual.
